Cancellation and Refund policy

Qompass is a technology-enabled platform that facilitates student admissions to coaching institutes across India. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms applicable to student cancellations and refunds for any course or batch listed on the Qompass application or website.
By enrolling in a batch or course through Qompass, you agree to the terms set forth below.


  1. Role of Qompass

    • Qompass is a facilitator and admission partner only.
    • All batches/courses are offered, owned, and managed by independent Coaching Partners, not by Qompass.

  2. Coaching Partner Policies Govern Refunds

    • Each coaching partner defines their own refund and cancellation policy at the batch level.
    • These policies are displayed transparently on the Qompass platform under each batch/course listing.

  3. Student Responsibility

    • Students are responsible for reviewing and understanding the batch-specific refund and cancellation policy before making payment.
    • Enrollment in a batch/course implies acceptance of the applicable coaching partner’s policy.

  4. Refund & Cancellation Process

    • If a student chooses to cancel enrollment, their request will be governed entirely by the refund & cancellation policy of the respective coaching partner.
    • Qompass will assist in forwarding the request to the coaching partner but:
      • Shall not be liable for the outcome of the request;
      • Shall not guarantee refund approval, amounts, or timelines.

  5. Refund Mode and Timelines

    • The coaching partner shall determine:
      • Whether the refund is approved;
      • The refund amount, if any;
      • The method and timeline of refund (e.g., bank transfer, UPI, wallet credit).

  6. No Refund from Qompass

    • Qompass does not collect or retain course fees as service consideration from students.
    • All fees are processed on behalf of coaching partners.
    • Therefore, Qompass shall not issue refunds directly to any student under any circumstance.

  7. Dispute Resolution

    • Any refund or cancellation disputes must be addressed directly between the student and the coaching partner.
    • Qompass will support communication but shall not mediate or arbitrate such disputes.

  8. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

    • This policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
    • Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where Qompass (Array Ventures Private Limited) is headquartered.

  9. Platform Facilitation Fee / Commission

    • Qompass may earn a platform facilitation fee or commission from coaching partners for services such as student onboarding, counselling coordination, and technology support.
    • This fee is not charged to the student and is part of Qompass’s business relationship with the coaching partner.
    • In the event of a cancellation or refund by the student, Qompass’s facilitation/commission fee is non-refundable, unless explicitly agreed upon in writing with the coaching partner.
    • Qompass’s service obligation is deemed fulfilled upon successful enrollment and student details being shared with the coaching partner.

  10. Right to Modify Policy

    • Qompass reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time, without prior notice and at its sole discretion.
    • Any such changes will be effective upon being posted on the Qompass platform. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
