QA Analyst


Location:

Gurugram/Remote.

Description:

As a QA Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products/services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Support, to document, validate, prioritize and fix issues. Your attention to detail and passion for delivering exceptional results will directly impact the overall success of our offerings in the market.


Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure they meet the specified requirements and functionality.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Identify, document, and report defects using an issue tracking system, providing clear and concise information to assist with resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, ensuring a smooth and efficient testing process.
  • Perform regression testing to verify the stability and reliability of existing functionalities after code changes or updates.
  • Participate in requirement and design reviews to provide valuable input and ensure testability of features from the early stages of development.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing automated test suites and frameworks to increase test coverage and speed up the testing process.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to share knowledge, best practices, and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in QA technologies to proactively suggest improvements to the QA process.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst with 2-3 years of hands-on testing experience in software/application testing.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies (Black-box, White-box, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, UAT) testing techniques, and software development lifecycles.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Experience with various testing types, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
  • Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying areas for improvement and driving change.
