Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to join our team. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in leading and managing a team of engineers (backend and front-end both) .
You will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of projects, driving team productivity, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions within budget. You will also conduct research and development for new designs, products and processes, while maintaining technical accuracy and coordinating work with other managers and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Lead research and development projects that produce new designs, products and processes .
• Design, develop and maintain current product portfolio and undertake initiatives to improve performance.
• Adhere to release cycle of various product portfolios.
• Plan, prioritize, and manage daily engineering deliverables with highest quality standards.
• Translating business priorities into engineering priorities with 360 degree analysis of situation.
• Ensure that engineering deliverables meet high-quality standards through rigorous testing and code reviews.
• Ability to identify risks associated with project and bring them to the attention of stakeholders.
• Determine the need for training and talent development.
• Build A+ team and hire contractors for short term needs.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven 2-4 years of experience in a managerial role, leading and managing engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and best practices in software engineering.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Demonstrated project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and effectively manage resources.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• A passion for staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in software development and engineering management.
